Why Does Lionel Richie Has To Say about Justin Bieber’s Relationship With His Daughter Sophia?
Since Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie started getting close, everyone seems to have an opinion on them, including Sophia’s father, Lionel Richie! So what does the singer think about his 17-year-old daughter and the Biebs’ alleged fling?
For many, Justin may not be the guy a parent would want his daughter to see, but Lionel Richie doesn’t seem to have a problem with him at all! The famous singer, 67, didn’t choose the full papa bear mode about the situation but he rather kept a pretty cool reaction about the alleged romance brewing between the two.
A close source to Richie even claimed that he is currently OK with it “As long as Sofia is safe, he doesn’t want to cause any waves and he is completely fine with Justin hanging out with his daughter. He doesn’t need to think otherwise about Justin for now.” Not bad!
Another part of the Richie family doesn’t seem to have quite the same opinion on Sofia seeing Justin, and its Sophia’s famous sister, Nicole, who is keeping a watchful eye on them. A source close to Nicole claims that “she is very protective of her little sister but she trusts her with her choice”. Cute! The older sister is certainly very happy because Sofia seemed to enjoy her time with the 22-year-old singer, as she was spotted with him on a sexy hike on Aug. 10.
The hike comes just one day after Sofia was seen leaving Bieber’s house in the morning, wearing a Calvin Klein sports bra and the singer’s printed pajama sweatpants! The 17-year-old beauty stayed in the same outfit when she went to the Anastasia Salon in Los Angeles.
Bieber and Richie were first seen together on Aug. 8, when they were spotted walking hand-in-hand at Laguna Beach. They looked so cute together, checking out a seal and relaxing on the rocks. We can’t say if the pair was platonic or not, but it was clear they were having a lot of fun together! The “Love Yourself” singer was recently back from a vacation in Hawaii, where he partied alongside the model Sahara Ray and other beauties. But in California, it’s all about Sofia!
